Today after breakfast, you will depart for Samburu National Reserve by road with a stop at the equator line, home to the rare and exotic wildlife species such as the Gerenuk, Rothschild Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, endangered Samburu monkeys, Beisa Oryx and large elephant herds arriving in Samburu in time for check-in and lunch. After lunch depart for afternoon game drives within the park. Samburu National Reserve is situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro River in dry northern Kenya. It is located in a hot and arid area characterized by a parched landscape of hills and plains. The combination of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Dinner and breakfast at Samburu Sopa Lodge

AAfter breakfast, you will depart from the lodge and exit the park and be driven to the naturally heated spa pool; Lake Bogoria, which is also an alkaline lake and home to flamingos and hot springs/geysers which emit hot vapour from the core of the earth. After a hearty breakfast depart for L. Nakuru National Park to be there in time for lunch and an evening game drive at 16:00hrs, besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for; there are approx 400 other species of birds in the lake, Also many species of game found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Today after breakfast, you will depart to the Mara Reserve, home to the big five and numerous plains game. You will arrive in time for check-in and lunch before departing for afternoon game drives. Optional activities include hot air balloon safari, guided nature walks, bush lunch/dinner/breakfast, bird walks, and evening sundowner. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Take an extensive full day game drive into the reserve covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia and hazy forested hills and riverine bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander, Maasai Mara is considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 1510 sq Kms of this reserve adjoin Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one eco-system. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topis, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. From June to October, the annual Wildebeest migration takes place when thousands of these animals sweep across the plains and seek out new grazing areas, a full day game drive with picnic lunch at the hippo pool on the banks of the Mara River was the crossing of the Gnus [wildebeests] takes place while the killer crocodiles await will be the best experience ever. Today after breakfast, you will have a visit to the Maasai Village to learn about Maasai culture and traditions in these very special village experience, the first of their kind in the Masai Mara. After breakfast, mid-morning game drive then leaves for Lake Naivasha which is the highest Lake in The Rift Valley arriving late afternoon. Lake Naivasha is famous in the 1930s as a staging post for Imperial Airways Flying Boat Services from Durban to London and you can see the Lake sparkling in the sun thousands of feet below. Proceed to the Sopa Lodge for lunch with a visit to the Hell’s Gate National Park past Fishers Tower in the afternoon. You will visit the Geothermal Power Plant at Ol Karia and the Hot Springs. Hell’s Gate is the only park that officially allows transport by walking and bicycling. The small perimeters of the park give you a chance to see a variety of wildlife. Very early in the morning breakfast then depart for Nairobi airport for your flight to Entebbe International Airport. Our driver-guide picks you up from Entebbe to start your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in western Uganda. You will drive towards South Western Uganda going through Mpigi (Stop at the Uganda Equator for photo shoots), Uganda Equator is an imaginary point where the Northern Hemisphere separates from the Southern Hemisphere, and it’s a tourist spot for photo taking and handicraft shopping. There are also different souvenirs shops at the Equator where you can buy souvenirs. Proceed with the journey have lunch at Mbarara town (50 minutes lunch break). After lunch, you will proceed with the journey as you admire the beautiful gardens, farms and hills of Ankole region. You will arrive at the park in the evening. Get breakfast and be escorted to the park offices to begin your adventure. You will get some briefing from a local guide and then set off to the forest. The time taken is usually 3- 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Coming face to face with these mountain gorillas is one of the most electrifying experiences you can ever have. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures and you will enjoy them from a close range observing adults feeding, groaning and resting as the youngsters play and move backwards and forwards in a pleasantly comical demonstration. After trekking, return to the lodge for a delicious lunch and a restful evening. Accommodation: Gorilla Mist Camp

Start the day with an early breakfast and then set off for Kampala. Lunch en-route (Mbarara Town) from where you will proceed to Kampala. Arrive in Kampala in the evening for your flight to Nairobi. Overnight at Sarova Panafric

Today after breakfast, you will depart for Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain; Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks arriving in good time for lunch with afternoon game drive. It lies 150 miles south-east of Nairobi, very close to the Tanzania border. The snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the clouds dominates every aspect of Amboseli and the Observation Hill which allows an overall view of the whole park especially the swamps and elephants. Full day in Amboseli with a full day game drives with picnic lunch, optional returning in the camp for hot lunch, another game drive at 1600 hrs. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain; Kilimanjaro, is one of Kenya’s most popular national parks. Maasai village visit will be ideal on this day in the afternoon. Very Early morning breakfast, after breakfast the journey continues via Namanga border for border formalities into the North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with wheat and coffee plantations, and then into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll hopefully start spotting game well before you get into the park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge Lodge

After breakfast you depart for Ngorongoro viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping off at Olduvai Gorge en route. The Gorge acquired its name from the Sansevieria bush that grows profusely in the area, named Olduvai by the Maasai. The Gorge is about 50km long and in some places around 90m deep and is found between the Crater and the Serengeti. It was first discovered by a German entomologist named Professor Kattwinkel, who instigated an expedition just before the First World War. Later, the exploration was continued by Dr Louis Leakey and his wife, who in 1959 found humanoid remains of Zinjanthropus, later renamed Australapithicus Boisei, an early form of man. You will have time to walk through the simple small museum at the gorge, where you can view copy displays of some of the finds as well as pictures of what life was like for the gorge’s earliest inhabitants. After a picnic lunch, you continue to your camp, set high on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge Lodge
