Today after breakfast you drive to Nanyuki to this Conservancy which is a 90,000-acre not-for-profit wildlife conservancy in Central Kenya’s Laikipia County. It is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals including the “Big Five”. It is the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino and is also a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. Dinner and overnight Ol Pejeta Serena House

Today after breakfast you will depart for The Aberdares National Park, an area of 767 Km2 covers the higher areas of the Aberdare Mountain Ranges of Central Kenya, from altitude of 1829M to 4001M above sea level. The topography is quite diverse with deep ravines that cut through the forested eastern and western slopes. Animals easily observed in the park include; the Black Rhino, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey and sykes monkey. Rarer sightings include those of lions, the golden cat and the bongo- an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Animals like the eland and spotted and melanistic serval cats can be found higher up in the moorlands. Proceed for lunch followed by a drive back to Nairobi for your flight back home. After a hearty breakfast depart for L. Nakuru National Park to be there in time for lunch and an evening game drive at 16:00hrs, besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for; there are approx 400 other species of birds in the lake, Also many species of game found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Today after breakfast, you will depart to the Mara Reserve, home to the big five and numerous plains game. You will arrive in time for check-in and lunch before departing for afternoon game drives. Today after breakfast you will check out from the camp and take an extensive full day game drive into the reserve covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia and hazy forested hills and riverine bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander, Maasai Mara is considered by many to be Kenya’s finest game reserve, the 1510 sq Kms of this reserve adjoin Tanzania’s well-known Serengeti, forming one eco-system. The open rolling savannah grassland of the Mara is the home of numerous wildlife species including elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena, jackal, buffalo, eland, topis, impala, gazelle, warthog and zebra. Very early in the morning breakfast then depart for Nairobi airport for your flight to Entebbe International Airport. Our driver-guide picks you up from Entebbe to start your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in western Uganda. You will drive towards South Western Uganda going through Mpigi (Stop at the Uganda Equator for photo shoots), Uganda Equator is an imaginary point where the Northern Hemisphere separates from the Southern Hemisphere, and it’s a tourist spot for photo taking and handicraft shopping. There are also different souvenirs shops at the Equator where you can buy souvenirs. Proceed with the journey have lunch at Mbarara town (50 minutes lunch break). After lunch, you will proceed with the journey as you admire the beautiful gardens, farms and hills of Ankole region. You will arrive at the park in the evening. Get breakfast and be escorted to the park offices to begin your adventure. You will get some briefing from a local guide and then set off to the forest. The time taken is usually 3- 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Coming face to face with these mountain gorillas is one of the most electrifying experiences you can ever have. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures and you will enjoy them from a close range observing adults feeding, groaning and resting as the youngsters play and move backwards and forwards in a pleasantly comical demonstration. Today after breakfast you will drive to Entebbe with a visit to the Ngamba Island in Entebbe surrounded by the peaceful waters of Lake Victoria, Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary is home to 48 orphaned chimps rescued from throughout Uganda. Start the day with an early breakfast and then set off the Island breaking off for lunch then proceed to the airport for your flight to Nairobi with an overnight at Sarova Panafric

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Arusha then proceed to Ngorongoro viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping off at Olduvai Gorge en route. The Gorge acquired its name from the Sansevieria bush that grows profusely in the area, named Olduvai by the Maasai. The Gorge is about 50km long and in some places around 90m deep and is found between the Crater and the Serengeti. It was first discovered by a German entomologist named Professor Kattwinkel, who instigated an expedition just before the First World War. Later, the exploration was continued by Dr Louis Leakey and his wife, who in 1959 found humanoid remains of Zinjanthropus, later renamed Australapithicus Boisei, an early form of man. You will have time to walk through the simple small museum at the gorge, where you can view copy displays of some of the finds as well as pictures of what life was like for the gorge’s earliest inhabitants. After breakfast you will drive to Kilimanjaro international airport for a local flight to Zanzibar. Arrivals on time you will be met with our local representative. During the evening enjoy featuring powdery white beaches along eastern shores and Stone Town on its western edge; the best beaches are located on the eastern shore of Zanzibar Island.
