A 5 Day Masai Mara Christmas Experience

Meet and greet at the residence by “Brogibro Tours, Travel & Events Organizers Representatives” in the morning. You will receive a short introduction and briefing about your safari then depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve, home to the big five and numerous plain game. You will arrive in time for check in and take lunch before departing for an afternoon game drive. You may encounter some of the “Big Five” and you will most certainly be impressed by the wide variety of species present in this area. After breakfast, you will have an extensive full day game drive into the reserve covered with rolling grasslands dotted with acacia and hazy forested hills and river line bush where the Mara River and its tributaries meander. The reserve is home to the proud and traditional Masai tribe. The Mara is more than just the most popular wildlife park in the country and in many cases, it is the reason why people come to visit Kenya. This is a classic African savanna reserve, and the sheer density of wildlife is amazing. Gazelle, wildebeest and zebra graze in large numbers and where prey is found so are predators. Watered by the Mara River and its tributary the Talek, the park here compromises of 1510 sq. kilometers of open grassland tucked away in the south west corner of the country. In the Mara you will see an astonishing amount of wild life, including the big cats, where lions are found in large prides everywhere and it is not uncommon to see them hunting. Today after breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in the reserve if lucky you may encounter black rhinos during the drive. Optional activities include hot air balloon safari, guided nature walks, bush lunch/dinner/breakfast, bird walks, and evening sundowner. The Bush Dinner awaits you and will commence with the setting of the sun. Our guests will find that a table and chairs have already been set up, and that a campfire, lanterns, and bush kitchen awaits them. Our staff carefully serves guests with freshly prepared gourmet food made by the executive chef using fresh local produce with international influences accompanied with fine wines

Today after breakfast, you will have a visit to the Masai Village to learn about Masai culture and traditions in these very special village experience, the first of their kind in the Masai Mara. This nomadic, warrior tribe which once held vast swathes of pre-colonial Kenya, still retain many of their traditions as they live largely untouched by modern ways.
